Town of the Undead

Farm by day

A zombie farming game: a cozy life sim with hordes at night

If you like farming sims but want a little more at stake than a late harvest, Town of the Undead is the mix: the calm half of the day is a cozy farm game, the last minute of the night is a zombie horde at the fence. The farm feeds the fight, and the fight protects the farm.

The farm

The night

When night falls on your phone's clock the horde comes up the street. Lamps slow them, spike traps hurt them, a water cannon and a gun nest hold the line, your neighbors fight beside you, and you swing a shovel, a nail bat or a chainsaw. It's over in a minute or so, and the next morning the Daily Undead reports how it went.

The neighbors and the town

Marge the farmer, Earl the night guard, Doc Ruiz, Sal the mechanic, Penny from the coffee shop and nineteen more are waiting to be dug out. Each one brings missions and a story told over coffee. Restore the clinic, the diner, the pharmacy, the gym and the Mega Mart, and the town comes back around your farm.
