Changelog
Updates
Every update is free. The game has had a new version most weeks since launch; this page keeps the ones players notice. The full list of changes lives with the game's code.
5.6.0 — November 2026
Levels 20–30, three new chapters, New Game+
- Three new chapters: St. Mary's hospital in Oakdale, Westfield Mall in Sterling City, and New Game+ once the story is done. Missions pay XP that grows with your level.
- 200 achievements, a keepsake set for every zombie, and the Tool Room: craft remedies, gear and your own weapons.
- Rebuild Iron Works Gym, Miller Farm and Sterling's Supercenter, with a warehouse and two counters inside. Drive from trip to trip without going home first.
- Your house grows every level, up to a two-storey home with a living room. Bites hurt by day too.
- Sterling's fire and police stations, a crowbar that clears junk faster, rifles and shotguns in both hands, pick which weapons your bar shows.
- Smoother on big yards and out of Sterling's shops. Many fixes.
5.2 — October 2026
Five more languages, achievements, inside the house
- Play in Greek, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean; Italian, Turkish, Russian and Japanese followed.
- Step inside your house: sleep in your own bed and try outfits in the wardrobe mirror.
- Move and turn anything in your yard, even the house. Brick walls upgrade your fence.
- The game starts on High graphics at 60 fps and tells you if your phone struggles.
- Fixes: glowing signs, getting stuck in the porch, smoother road trips.
5.0 — October 2026
Road trips
- Fix up Mabel, the old car in the garage, and drive out: the Route 9 Truck Stop, Oakdale, Miller Farm, the Pine Hollow woods, Radio Tower Ridge and Sterling City with its county fair.
- Four new survivors waiting out there, five road zombies, five new builds.
